Marchandiomyces aurantiacus (Lasch) Diederich & Etayo
Basidiomycota, Ceratobasidiales: orange sclerotia on dead and dying areas of the host thallus; sexual stage not (yet?) recorded in Britain. Described (Diederich et al., see below) as "a virulent parasite of corticolous Physcia spp., occasionally also attacking neighbouring thalli of other lichens", probably widespread in Britain but little recorded.
